My annual post. I’m on 24 between these two little towns. What we seeing boys?!?! I’m getting lots of pics of bucks at night and does all day and night. I’ll be there Thursday off and on until January 2nd. Should be on!

My annual post

Go back and look at the dates of any daylight pics of mature bucks from previous years, that’s when it’s gonna be.

I’m very near you - just like you I’m seeing nighttime pictures of bucks but does only during the day. I’m gone until after Christmas but if the weather cools off it should be on when I get back

Right before Christmas thru the first week of January. Best is the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day

Correct. I’m aware of the rut schedule. Been hunting here for 35 years. I was just asking if others in the area are seeing rut activity now. Sorry for the confusion

Well I don’t think they are rutting yet. I have two big 8 points at my feeder last night at the same time. Two of the biggest bucks I’ve ever seen on my property

They’ll eat together but if one looks at the other one wrong they’ll spar/fight then go back to eating.

Had 7 racked bucks (all 2.5yrs old) do that the other evening.

Northern Claiborne county still seems a little bit away. Young bucks getting a little interested but far from on and the weather next week won’t help movement in daylight to know when

I killed my first big buck in Woodville on Jan 4 , 1985. Big mainframe 10 with 5 base stickers, 210 lbs and came out at 3 pm
