he has a canon and can run when needed, not super fast but good enough. If he can get his accuracy better his ceiling is elite. Congrats guys

What's Miss St's QB situation. Was he in line to start next season?

That's what I'm confused about, he was their unquestioned starter by midseason.

We have shapen coming back who got hurt, he’s Lebbys guy. He’s really good for Lebbys system, but injury prone. We have Luke Kroemhuer (sp) the 5 star from FSU coming today so hopefully we can get him to fill the gap, and we signed high 4 star Kamario Taylor who will RS

He wanted 1.3-1.5 and guaranteed starting spot for next year, from what our insiders say

Maybe this is true, but if so it would seem odd to ask for that then turnaround to be a guaranteed backup down the street. And I have no way to know for sure, but I would have a hard time believing LSU is paying that much for a backup as well

I think he would’ve stayed but our starter decided to back who got hurt last year due to medical waiver. From what I heard he wanted 1.5 mil and guaranteed starting spot

Probably not because yall have a more established team, so he could’ve asked for less. We were 2-10 and he took a beating lol , prolly wanted to get paid for all that, also I’m sure all the Arnold talk didn’t help

I mean… how much were they paying underwood? Not that huge of a stretch.

I think it would be a pretty huge stretch to say we are offering the same money to Van Buren that we were to the #1 recruit in the nation.

He is getting $500,000 for next year. If he wins the starting job the following year, he’ll obviously get a raise.

There’s something that just doesn’t add up about transferring out because you can’t get 1.3 and guaranteed starting job to go somewhere for half of that and guaranteed back up job.

Could be a number of things, but that math on the surface just doesn’t check out.

I assume with three years of eligibility, he’s looking to 2026 where he feels like he’ll be the starting quarterback at LSU. Gotta admire him betting on himself.

I hated losing Underwood but his absence clears a big path for others.
