They were throwing shite a wall trying to get it dismissed so they didn't have to admit that they defamed him. When that didn't work it was much much cheaper for them to settle and they didn't have to go on record about all the other shite they routinely lie about.

Trump should refile in the court with the same judge that rendered the sandy brook settlement against Alex Jones.
That's the way to end this inequity in damages.
