In the same spot I hunted yesterday evening. A big bottom, thickets lining both sides. About 10’ up a little oak tree in my saddle. Got here just before shooting time. I took a different route because I was sick of those damn hip boots. Ended up having to walk around a deep slough I didn’t notice on the map, which added probably another 1/4 mile to my walk. Plus I got the bubble guts on the walk so had to make a pit stop. Anyways, I’m here now. Good luck fellas!

Was planning on sitting here all day. Well my food bag fell off damn hook. Group of 6 pigs came up from behind me. Let two get close enough and drilled them.

Thank the Good Lord for thermacell! In the same stand I killed an 8 point and a doe out of last Saturday afternoon. Pigs have created a large wallow 10 yards from the stand that wasn't there last Saturday. Hopefully pork is on the menu today. Good luck gents

Just dropped an 8 point. Not the big one I’ve been after, but I couldn’t restrain myself any longer.

Eta: waiting on my son to get here to pick this deer up and had a spike and doe come out too. They’re moving this morning.

I need ground meat, so shooting the first mature deer that steps out. I've got my dogs in the truck in case I get a tracking call, so might not be able to hunt as long as I'd like.

South south. I’d have a lot more confidence if it was indeed pre rut lol. Been on scrapes since September. This piece gets fired up early

33 as I walked out in Maury county TN, this time on a field because I think they will feed midday. Watching some turkeys now. Doe gets it, 6 or better gets it. Got up the tree a solid hour before legal shooting time, but when you're awake you might as well get going.
