Be careful when you pay $12,000,000 to a 17yo kid. Both of their 1st & 2nd QB’s entered the portal. This transfer portal stuff is a disaster for building & holding a team together. Ain’t just LSU.

We should tamper every starter on their team.

It's not going to stay this bad forever. But it sure is going to feel like forever for it to get fixed.

Literally no one wants this version of NiL other than the players, and I wouldnt blame them.

Agreed. Hope for the worst for this kid for playing us. On the other hand, he’s just a kid…. This is what college sports has become. Gonna be real hard to continue to be as die hard as I have in the past.
Pay too much to one or two kids and you create a LOT of jealousy on your team. Don’t pay enough, there’s not enough talent. Walking the fine line is gonna be REAL tough.

Whether it’s fair or not that’s the game these kids play and they and the teams they sign with also take on the consequences. Welcome to real life

I lost interest in the NFL when Terrell Owens played for 5 teams in 5 years. I don’t really care for rooting for a player one year then rooting against him in the following year. It feels disingenuous.

Great Point. Think about Jackson Arnold. OU put him out there before he was ready and now he’s gone.

I can see Bryce Underwood going the same route

Watch closely what the rest of the Michigan players do. Underwood, without playing a down is making more than the whole offense! lol Watch them walk! Brilliant!

I’m sure Michigan will dearly miss Alex Orgi who will probably be throwing 20 ints for Toledo next year

He didn't get a lump sum of $12 million.

Well when everyone knows what the other guy is making, everyone wants more! Maybe BK strategy isn’t so dumb after all…

Wouldn't mind a player or two off of their defense.

This is the biggest issue. They are paying that much for Underwood so they have to start him.

But with him a starter the more experienced depth transfers, so now it’s truly all on the shoulders of a freshman. He has to be tough mentally to stick out a potentially shite season and the fans have to be able to be patient. But with the portal, no one has patience…can spiral quick

Those same fans who praised him when he flipped to Michigan will shite on him when things go sour like it's setting up to do.

It’s true. Soon we’ll have contracts and that will solve a lot of these problems. Schools will have to buy out a player to pick them up in the portal which many won’t want to do and will add a layer of difficulty to transferring.

should have been an easy choice for them. No way they are gonna pay $12 million for a QB to sit the bench, so if you want to be "the guy", it wasn't gonna be there.
