Glad to see Grant being recognized for his Heretic performance.

The Substance is going to the trendy addition of the awards season.

Maybe I've been out of the loop or something, but I've only heard of two of those best picture nominees and only seen one.

I haven't seen it yet but was Denzel's performance in Gladiator II Oscar worthy?

No. Nothing about Gladiator II is Oscar worthy. It’s a jumbled mess of a movie that desperately needs the directors cut. The critical praise for this movie is baffling to me. Denzel’s Macbeth was much better.

Anora is my pick for best picture so far, but I still need to see The Brutalist. Wicked could upset, but I think it’s a two-horse race for Best Picture.

Everybody should give Anora a chance. Fair amount of T&A and an incredible supporting cast. I wasn’t expecting it to be as funny as it was.
