My interest in LSU football has never been lower

And that’s including the Curley Hallman years.
This bastardized version of college football where you turn over 50% of your roster every year fricking sucks. In every way, it’s a far inferior product to what preceded it.
Sadly, it’s never going back. Kids today will never know what it was like when college football was the greatest sport in the world instead of a retarded version of the NFL. I’m just glad I got to witness 2019.

Everyday they try to get us to care

First step would be to quit visiting TD. Then stop watching LSU football. Good luck

The pay for play is one thing but it's really the transfer rules that have it out of control. Every player wants to become a "free agent" at the end of the season to see how much money they can get.
They need to make players who transfer sit out a year if they transfer. Obviously there could be some exceptions like coach leaving or whatnot but at least this would stop the absurd amount of transfers every season.

I can’t wait for the bandwagon fans to leave so we don’t have to listen to y’all’s bullshite.
Wtf are yall complaining about? We lost Will Campbell and jones? We knew that going into this year. They are both 3 yr starters. Stfu with the whining
For those that don’t understand I get he’s bitching about current landscape of college football and we all hate it, you got to adapt because LSU football is the greatest. He’s saying he’s uninterested in lsu football not college football. Very interesting it comes on same day the board is melting about players leaving.

I get what you’re saying… my interest in college football has never been lower.
But my interest in LSU football will never diminish. No matter how the rules or landscape changes, I’ll never be able to quit it. My interest and support of LSU will remain 100% of my capability.

I route for the letters LSU, and whoever is wearing that jersey. Doesn't really matter to me who is wearing them.
Outside of LSU's lack of success I actually very much enjoyed the parody in college football. It's a 12 team playoff and I have absolutely no clue who is going to win it. I think that's great.
It's apparent that a lot of LSU don't have the mental capacity to handle the changes. It's fine, we don't need to hear about it from every single one of you. Nobody really cares.

I think everyone is still very interested and would love to see us win. However it is much easier to move on after a loss and knowing no playoffs.
Think about it if we had made the playoffs this year no one would be making these threads.

It isn’t sustainable.
We listened to the liberals crying about taking advantage of the athletes and look where it’s gotten us.

You are not alone feeling this way

To lsusteltz. I know it’s hard for you, but try to look at the big picture of what he’s talking about. He’s comparing the golden age of college football to what it has degenerated into today. You’re probably young and lack the ability to understand his point. The folks that weren’t around from the late 1950’s to 1980’s really missed out on what LSU and college football in general was all about.

While I get that college football has changed (golden years were 2001-2010) the topic is that his interest in LSU football has never been lower, not just football and it’s just this and multiple posts melting about current LSU

Me too but I don't know if it's because I'm getting old or if it's because of the shite show

If LSU was in the playoffs there would be ZERO of these threads made, instead of 5 per day.

I'm hanging in there with just LSU, but even that interest is not anywhere close to where it used to be.
BTW, "Retarded version of the NFL" is the current LSU Athletic Department sponsored in-game atmosphere inside Tiger Stadium.
