Finally getting around to building my outdoor kitchen and fireplace. I need suggestions on where to purchase firebricks (need about 100) within a few hours of Baton Rouge. Local big box stores have them for over $3 per brick.

I bought some from Brick & Block Products in Mandeville a few years ago.

Is there an acme brick anywhere around?

I built a outdoor fireplace and that's where I got mine.

I've always found the hard fire brick at local privately owned building places. Soft fire brick are harder to find locally. I usually have to order them if I have a project that requires them.

Either McConnel or Acme in BR should have them.
