I agree. They could have done something better like revamped the Ruger American to be slimmer and of course a better trigger. I always thought the Ruger American was a nice looking gun.

I bought one and its nicer than the dagger, which i also own.
The thing that sold me was the optics cut. It has the footprint for 3 different configurations(with the insertion of dowels). No need for a plate to mount most any dot on the market.
