KAT for Ingram feels lateral when they're on the court.

Considering ingrams history of injury though it would've been a slam dunk move

Kinda raises the question of who would you NOT trade on this team?

I wouldn't trade Herb, too much value all around.

I might not trade Missi barring a great deal.

Everyone else I feel like can be had for the right deal, even Trey (that would need to be one hell of a deal)

I feel like we should do right by CJ and deal him to a contender. We could get a solid player and a pick which is fine by me. However, I would riot if we give Herb away.

I don’t want to trade Herb.

It would have to be an insane deal for me to even consider it, but I wouldn’t want to trade him…

Too good of a player…

Too good of a contract…

I can't think of anything. It would have to be outrageous, something no one would ever offer.

He's just worth more to us than he would be to other teams

I can't see the Pels doing a full reset. Soft tank this year and add a hopefully top 5 pick in a talented draft to a core of Murray/Herb/Trey/Missi.

Everyone else is available. It's very good to hear there is interest in CJ.

Protected pick from a good team and a young guard or PF would be what I would want for CJ. I don't think his value is too much more than that

We'd probably have to take on some shite salary to make the money work though

I agree. it would have to be something ridiculous like a good young player and at least 3 firsts minimum. Even then I’m a little sad about it and idk if it’s worth. If they have to trade him because of our financial issues, fans are gonna riot.

next years draft class has big potential. Boozer and Dybantsa might go #1 in this class too.

I've seen 3 different players (one of them a teammate) say that Herb Jones will eventually win an NBA ring. I'm fairly certain they weren't thinking it would be with the Pels. He probably has another coupla years with the Pels, at most, and will then be playing for a VERY serious contender...likely for the rest of his career.

Herb has tremendous trade value to maybe half a dozen teams or so...who are right on the edge & think Herb could be the missing piece...to allow them to win it all. It's just a matter of one of these teams coming up with enough "trade bait" to make it worth while for the Pels to move Herb. Gonna take a VERY nice package. I hate to see it coming...but that's just the way it is...JMO

But...hope springs eternal...and I haven't given up yet.

My plan...tank and somehow luck out & get 1st pick. Then...find some team that thinks Flagg is the "2nd coming of Larry Bird" (there's ALWAYS somebody that believes that).

Trade that 1st pick to that "We're getting Bird" team for their young, VERY good 6'7" wing player AND let them also give us their #6 (or so) pick in the upcoming draft. Then...make sure that with that #6 pick...we get the guy who, 3 years from now...everybody thinks shoulda been the #1 pick in the upcoming draft...instead of "Larry Bird". That's my plan...and I'm sticking to it.

We aren’t trading Herb so potential CJ trades are much more fun to talk about

Agreed. I wonder what that “interest” actually is though. The venn diagram of teams that would want him and have tradable contracts has very little overlap.

Considering that, my guess is the interest is a lot of bad contract offers. I’m sure the obvious ones like the Bulls offering Vucevic plus other trash, and the Nets offering Simmons just to keep a big salary that they can trade for another year. The more interesting ones I think are not completely out of the realm of possibility:

-MIA being interested and offering Rozier and filler if they are done with the scary Terry experiment.

-I could see MEM wanting to dump Smart, and they have filler salary to make the rest work

The most logical suitor to me would be the Magic. They are last in the league in 3p% and their guard play has taken a step back this year. CJ boosts their shooting, adds some ball handling, and gives them a vet presence. He also fits with Suggs and they have the length at the other positions to cover for him.

It’s a shame that they just extended everyone this offseason, because I don’t see much on their roster besides Carter that they’d being willing to give and that we’d actually want

Yeah, cause that is so easy to do. Trading down from #1 is a HUGE risk so that 6'7" wing has to be big time.

I think the Magic resigned Carter as well. So, in order to do a deal, they would have to likely include some of their young players like Black or Howard along with Anthony. Not sure if they would do that.
