How excited are you for the Texas Bowl?

Personally, I am not excited at all. I think bowls have lost their cool factor with so many being played now.
I think with the playoff, bowls will now be even less watched and/or attended.
I do hope LSU wins but I don’t think 2:30 on a Tuesday is going to be appointment viewing for many.

Man stfu and just enjoy the chance to see some guys of the future get some playing time and prepare for next season.

I'm just hoping we beat them the way we should. Last year, we should've beat Wisconsin handily, but didn't. That's my biggest issue with Kelly. Sometimes we should just go out there and blow out an inferior team, but it rarely seems to happen

In no way do I care about this
We may as well refer to LSU as Next Year U.
With the way the portal is now, half these guys who “get experience” in the bowl could leave before next season anyway. But yeah.

I agree and would add that most bowls lost their cool or exclusivity factor decades ago..
For perspective, there were 41 bowls in 2015, 28 in 2005 and 18 in 1995.

Better to be 8-4 than 6-6. The Baylor game is not bad, match-up with Aranda who we respect.
I rather us playing in a Texas Bowl at 8-4 than what Florida State and Auburn are going through with rock bottom seasons.
