Are we are pulling for Clemson?

A Clemson close win puts Bama out the playoffs. Are we all pulling for that? Hate pulling for Dabo but Bama doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs after losing to Vandy and then getting blown out against a terrible Oklahoma team.

You really think this will stop them? The networks have been pushing all week for why Bama deserves to be in. They will find whatever stat claims Bama is more deserving and use that as an excuse as to why they lied the week before. As they do every year.

SMU here. It is poetic justice that the only team to be punished for paying players can be in the running for a NC with paid players. And I live in North Texas.

Yes I really do believe they will put SMU in over them if Clemson barely beats them. If they don't why should would teams want to play in conference championship games? It would set an absolute nightmare precedent if they do that.

Any Clemson win will eliminate Alabama. They said they are not going to punish teams (SMU) for play an extra game in the conference championship.

Someone educate me. Bama is 11. Why are they out if Clemson wins? Wouldnt they fall to 12 even if SMU is ranked above them? And can we just assume that would be the case given that another 2-loss ACC team is ranked below them?

They had Arizona State at 15 I think. They get an auto bid for winning the big 12. That pushes Miami out, Clemson winning pushes Bama at 11 out due to Clemson being ranked lower right now than Bama. SMU is 6th and the thought is they won't punish them for making their conf champ game and losing while Bama sat at home.
