I'd encourage you to go look up SEC coaching salaries, but that'd be asking a lot of someone with your level of intellect.

The crazy thing is we would have the same record as bama with similar quality of wins but they would be ranked 11 while we would be ranked in the 20’s

I believe you are correct - people forget, the path was there when all the favorites won for a 5-way tie. This was before ATM would pick up their loss to AUB (ending up with 3 conference L’s) & Bama dropping the ball against OU, picking up their 3rd SEC L.
