If UNC had any sense they would hire Jamey Chadwell from Liberty . He knows the Carolinas and is a proven program builder

I’ll start halfway paying attention if UNC or someone hires Sumrall from Tulane. Until then, why bother?

You never get pissed about a coach leaving for a promotion we can’t offer him. Disappointed, sure. Sucks we only had him one year. But this is what happens when you hire good coaches. If the rumor is even true of course.

Coaching at Tulane isn't bad if that is where you went to school.
DC at LSU and coaching at Tulane are about the same as far getting an opportunity to be hired by an even bigger school.
Plus it gains you head coaching experience.
