I just submitted a donation this morning and will be doing so monthly now. It's not much but it's what I can afford to easily let go each month and not feel it.

Anyone upset with our inability to keep up with the other big boys in recruiting should do so as well.

I'd imagine that for everyone who fills the stadium each week, there's 3 others who don't go but read this site. If only 100,000 people donate $50 a month to Bayou Traditions, that's a huge fricking boost each year. $60,000,000 a year, and that's from $50/month. Half that each month would still result in an extra $30,000,000 a year. I'd imagine that at the very least, everyone who attends games or buys season tickets would be willing to do this.

Why can't we do this? What's the excuse?

Why can't every season ticket holder donate $25 or $50 every month to ensure that the product they pay good money to see in person is competitive each week against each opponent?

The excuse is

“What’s in it for me”

“How do I know that they are actually using my money”

More enjoyable signing days which would likely lead to more enjoyable football seasons.

How does one know they're not?

Since the football team doesnt really need scholarships anymore, can we reduce ticket prices by like $600 and then we could put that money into the NIL fund?

To everyone who has their panties in a wad and badmouthing everything LSU this week because "we" keep getting outbid for players, this is your chance to actually put your money where your mouth is. That way that "WE" will actually mean something and your anger would have a slight bit of relevanvce.

Do we still need to donate to TAF, or now that these players are millionaires' can they update their own facilities etc.?

I'm now donating to TAF and Bayou Traditions. I enjoy being an alum and a fan and what I donate isn't really missed each month so why not? It only helps in the long run.

I donate to St. Jude Hospital and my church each month as well. LSU athletics happens to be another cause I strongly believe in.

Imagine donating and consistently losing out on recruits. Donating to Bayou Traditions is like giving crackheads money to get off drugs. It feels good to give but deep down inside you know they going to use it for crack.

i also donate to bayou traditions. it really is as simple as the majority of this fanbase buying in and just donating 20-50 a month. hell, even ole miss got their fanbase to do that.

the unfortunate reality is that the majority of this fanbase are baws who never set foot in an LSU classroom. they want to thump their chest when LSU is good but will never contribute a dime to this university outside of attending a game here and there.

I feel like it would be easy to have a few games a year where you could "text geax tigers" to 74579 and donate 10.00 to the Bayou Tradition. After people have a few drinks, they're feeling good.

You do that at
2 football games with 95 thousand plus
2 Big Womens BBall Games
2 Big Mens BBall Games
2 Baseball Series
2 Home gymnastics meets

Any post season hosted games.

Every fan in LA could donate $50/month & it will remain nothing compared to the wealth of one guy like Larry Ellison or Phil Knight.

I donate small amounts annually, but there is no scenario where we outbid Michigan for Underwood if that’s what you were thinking. You can’t physically fathom how much wealth Larry Ellison has.

Will never happen. They can just continue to raise the price floor if we spend more, just like coaching salaries.

We’ll always be top 25, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we never land a #1 recruit at this point unless the rules of the game change.

I was a neck member and donated $50 a month, and then they stopped withdrawing and I do not see a recurring option anymore.

why does it have to be $50/month? why can't lsu asks for $5 for $10 per month?

the entire point of crowd sourcing is asking for an insignificant amount from the donor so that donating is not a big deal. the other part is getting numerous people to do it. the smaller the amount asked, the more people are likely to do it.

what's the problem with asking for "ANY" size donation? F*CK! take a $1 per month. 100,000 donors at $1 per month is $100,000. WTF is wrong with that? is lsu really going to turn down a 1.2 million dollar donation each year?

lsu should take any size donation at any time from pretty much anyone.
