Superman & Lois - series finale 12/2

Has been a solid series and has had instances of some truly Superman action. A lot of comic book fan service with some of the storyline and characters.
Interesting with them married with teenage boys. Of course, it is a CW show.
Easily the best "live action" portrayal of Doomsday.
Last episode tomorrow night. It's been a good run.

I’ll be watching, well recording to watch later without commercials.

I watched the 1st season and was hit and miss for the second.
For whatever reason, my YouTube algorithm started hitting me with shorts and I did a rewatch/do over.
I have always busted on DC about the fact they killed with their animation but their live action was a mixed bag.
They did very well with this. Don't care for overly psycho Lex (although, his motivations make sense), but otherwise they have really nailed it.

I’ve been a day 1 watcher. I will miss this show. I found it very compelling. This season hasn’t missed.

It doesn’t hold a meteor rock to Smallville - the greatest Superman show of my lifetime (even if Clark never became Superman).
Here’s hoping that Welling and Rosenbaum get their animated Smallville (after Smallville really - with Clark as Superman) series off the ground with both playing their characters again.
With Rosenbaum being a personal friend of Gunn, I can see it having a good chance.

If it wasn't for Smallville, the Arrowverse and S & L wouldn't have happened.
Smallville brought us:
Best portrayal of young Clark Kent
Best ever Lex Luthor
Best ever Lois Lane
Best Jonathan and Martha Kent
And created 2 new characters that were so good, they became Canon (Chloe Sullivan and Lionel Luthor).
I also hope they get the animated series going.
That said, this is a very different series/vibe so I don't know if a direct comparison is even fair.

Superman and Lois is a completely different show.. and type of show... than Smallville was.
Although they are in the same universe, aren't they? Wasn't Welling as Clark Kent on The Flash on one of the earth's having given up his powers in exchange for a normal life?
But this show has hit an all cylinders for it's entire run. This abbreviated season is really, really good. Looking forward to seeing how they wrap everything up tomorrow night.

Trailer gives away the outcome from the end of the last episode.

I know that... I'm just interested to see how they get there, know what I mean?
And.... spoilers, I guess...
I mean... they've had his brother throw him into the Sun to regenerate, his father in law give him his heart... what's next in the "let's save Superman" saga?

I think he does another deep sun recharge before taking on ___________ and as a result of the battle, one of them dies, for good.

I was thinking either that or... _____________ does what his father and law did... for reasons....

Solid show show but Bitsie Tulloch had bothered me since Grimm

This being an LSU board, the dude that plays Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) made the final out in the last game at the old Alex Box Stadium when he played for UC-Irvine

For some reason... it actually seems like I knew this.

I think I figured it out...speculation below
Remember in the 1st episode, JHI's suit (and computer) referred to him as Captain Luthor. It continued to do so until JHI got rid of the profile and established his own.
In the last episode, Milton (I presume Fine - never stated) asks Lex if he was ever in the military because he found the old profile in JHI's suit while reprogramming it.
I think there's going to be some sort of time/dimensional thing where Lex ends up back in time in the suit on JHI's Earth.
Other possibility is Tal Ro comes from bizzaro world and sacrifices himself so Clark can have his Kryptonian heart.

Does this compare to DC animated universe? Did it come on The CW?
I found it on MAX.

Was/is on CW. Part of Arrowverse. Hard to be DC animated universe, but they did a real good job with it. As I said before, some very good Superman action/set pieces. Appearances by:
Steel/John Henry Irons
Doomsday
Bizzaro
Bruno Manheim/Intergang
Lex Luthor
Morgan Edge
Milton Fine
