We need stop numbering OT after the 2nd one Just call it Final/2OT(6).
Its not really overtime. More like penalty kick shootout in soccer.
I also wouldn't mind 3RD old rules overtime before the sudden death

Agree.
As a side note, I wish George had lost last night to watch the SEC squirm. Instead, they screwed Georgia Tech.
This is about money.

What I think needs to change is them resetting the timeouts every OT. just frickin play

The TOs are a problem. After the second OT, each team should have one timeout, period. Being able to call a timeout basically every play going forward is a bit much.

How did they screw tech exactly? Watching the OT it seemed pretty fair and they even gave them a PI call and they still got stuffed at the 1. Seems like they just couldnt close out

It was during regulation when GT stuffed them in the red zone but the refs awarded them a PI on a tipped pass.

Also the TO every period and switching sides of the field are dumb. Kirby showed that by calling TO after seeing techs formations. Id be more for putting them at the 10/15 and giving them 4 downs to score each. No fgs.

On the final UGA drive before the game went to Overtime. Missed back to back holding calls that would've likely ended the game.

This is the first play. It would've made it 2nd & 24. They converted a 3rd & 6 on the next play where ref missed another blatant hold.
Also... it was textbook Targeting on the Haynes King fumble. Dude led with the crown of the helmet. No call. No review.

College overtime sucks arse. I'd rather have ties.

The OT rules are dumb. At a minimum they need to reduce the TOs and switching sides.
CFB had the best OT in sports and decided to change it all because of our game vs Aggies which would've never gone that long if not for the refs. It's like when a board game lasts way too long and you realize it's because you've been playing by the wrong rules the whole time. But of course the NCAA overreacted to one game. They could've just backed the starting field position up to the 50 or so and it would've reduced the likelihood of 3+ OT games

To be fair, it would probably need to be 4 “old rules”, so both teams get to go last twice.
