Their offense has struggled , but it looks like the defense is stout.

Any Venables defense is solid. He schemes well.

He does, especially early in the game and our OC will need to adjust. Remember the 2019 NCG. He is going to load the LOS and you won't know who is coming or dropping back. We'll need quick hitters to the WR's/M. Taylor and if they break a tackle it will go for big gains. J. Williams will be huge again picking up blitzes and flowing out for catches. You know what's coming, be ready and execute.

He is going to confuse the hell out of Nuss. I originally thought this was a sure win. Hopefully the O-line can be serviceable. Or maybe Nuss flips the script and actually runs with the ball when it’s available.

IMHO comparable to South Carolina and Ole Miss's D's but I don't think it's better than either honestly. Maybe as good in my view.

South Carolina’s defense is better, imo. Ole Miss is up there with them.

Agreed and we probably should have scored more than 40 points in Columbia, missed an open receiver on that 4th and goal because Nuss tripped over his own lineman.

Nuss has that special ability to make any solid D look like the 2000 Ravens.

OU is 4th in the SEC in total defense and middle of the pack in scoring defense. People are acting like they're the 85 Bears.

Well LSU made an average Alabama defense look like the 2011 LSU defense sooo.

Yeah, they had their best day Saturday, but Mizzou put up 30 on them and South Carolina 35.

LOL....always on Nuss. What about the OL who will not know who and when to block? That doesn't matter to people like you. You want Nuss' head on the chopping block, and objectivity is thrown out the window. Pathetic.

It is what happens when you are weak up the middle 3. Especially Center and LG....hopefully starter returns at LG...makes a big difference.

I posted about the O-line in this thread. However Nuss ability to read the defense and make proper check downs has been shaky at best. And don’t get me started about his ability or lack there of to slide and step up in the pocket. The majority of what I’ve seen (but I’m sure you saw different) is Nuss not stepping up in the pocket and throwing off of his back foot. Recipe for disaster as we have seen with all the interceptions.
