I think this is a CWS team. Minus becoming injury riddled they have to make it to Omaha. However if they don’t make the supers does Jay feel any heat?

Baseball has a very difficult, high variance postseason. No, I don't think a guy who won a title two seasons ago will feel heat for failing to make a super regional.

Barring injuries we have an Omaha Bound Team. But anything can happen in college baseball
The 2014 team coulda won it all but got skull-fricked in our own regional.

For fricks sake. Some of you must get off on people getting fired. It's the only logical explanation for this level of stupidity.

Fans arent happy unless we're firing someone

You keep jay on recruiting alone. Even if he didn't win 2 years ago.

We're about to enter the age old cycle where we lose a Sunday game to IUPUI 9-7, and we'll have 64 posters asking why we don't have a legit Sunday starter. Only 40 seasons of experience to rely on

The melts during the middle of the 2023 season were awesome. I wish I had bookmarked some.

Tiger rant baseball starter pack includes:
Why don't we have 4 (!) legit starters?
Why don't we have a closer?
Why midweek games do or don't matter?
Why didn't we hit 45 homeruns in a February game with a temperature of 52 degrees?
So and so will be "in the rotation" by SEC play.
Why isn't so and so playing instead of so and so who is only hitting 292?
The coach is responsible for a player or players not performing.

Coming off an actual National Championship and people were melting about a down season. After losing so many bats.
And even in that down year they finished strong and were a few outs from hosting a Super. In a down season off a Championship and people were discrediting Jay Johnson. Think about that.
Jay's first season was actually more impressive than his 2nd season IMO. He was left without a legit SEC weekend starter and managed to win 40 with 17 SEC wins.

No. While I am more confident that not that this team will make Omaha. Jay is the best recruiter in CBB by far and the outlook for the program is similar to that of the 90s with Bertman, At least from a talent standpoint. Jay will likely win another natty if not 2 during his time here and will be a regular in Omaha.

What?!?!? No.
Also, they could have the best team in the country for 60+ games and still not make it to Omaha. Some of yall have no idea how baseball works.

Two years removed from a national championship? Are you stupid?
