Basically in reading the tea leaves here….Larry Ellison, owner of Oracle and 4th richest man in the US behind Elon and a few others is dating an Asian girl who is in her 30s.
So Larry is an Illinois graduate and living his best rich man life with his girl. His girlfriend happens to be a UM alum. She is targeted by the UM collective and is able to skate out a check from her bae Larry for 20 million dollars essentially giving UM the ability to reset the market on Underwood’s recruitment.
Moral of story here? Asian girls like American football?

Moral of the story is that a Michigan kid was offered 8 figures to stay in Michigan... it's really not that hard to figure out.

They won, we lost. That's what the tea leaves say. Dont pretend that if we had a billionaire willing to do the same we would be bitching.
Moral of the story, Underwood isn't being paid billions. He's getting 3 million a year. LSU has many millionaires that could cover 3 mil a year. They chose not to.
Other moral of the story, evidently for Michigan, "it just means more" than it does to LSU. Sucks but that's the reality.

Been thinking about the Underwood flip; I'm disappointed but instate player stays home for 12m. We want all of our instate stars to stay home too. We get annoyed and upset when they dont. Good for him.
The other thing was what if; Underwood would have hit the transfer portal after the first year (home sick) our QB depth would be crap. Everyone there now would have transferred. Nuss would likely choose the NFL and maybe we have not shot at a 26 QB like Haven.
