If Payton falls back into his past draft day persona, find the highest ranking player out of some school like Waste Management Polytech.
That school produces some fine CBs.

Trade the pick to Oakland for Ashmouga or however you spell his name.

That would be golden with me but he's a UFA I think.

We need a safety, but I'm not a huge Mays fan and where we are I don't want us to reach on another safety. I wouldn't mind trading the pick as long as we got some quality out of it.

hes definately worth a 1st rounder, not ours though.

Just wait until the "best cb in the league" plays with no pressure on the qb and probabably the worst safety in the world over the top.

not so sure why everyone thinks trading back is so easy

90% of the teams in the draft would love to trade back, rarely do teams like paying the price it costs to trade up

i don't think mays will be there and i'm not sold it shouldn't be a rb

First off we get a new defensive coordinator that can utilize what talent we already have and other than a safety such as Dawan Landry from Baltimore we have the pieces in house on defense.

1. Sign Dawan landry to replace Josh Bullocks.
2. Insert Jo-Lonn Dunbar into Scott Shanle's spot.

This helps our defense greatly. If we get Dawkins from Philedelphia all the better. After this I hope that Chris "beanie" Wells falls to our pick and gives us that powerback to compliment Bush and Thomas.

Sean Jones from Cleveland is a pretty good safety and he is an UFA. Sign him and get a got LT so Brown can go back to RT
