NO HOMO [ACTIVATED] INACTIVATED

1. This movie is going to clean house with the Oscar’s. Both women are winning best actress/supporting actress.

2. Apparently they sang the songs live and overlaid them onto the movie.

4. Grande just totally elevated her career.

And finally, Ariana Grande can sit on my face.

It was just this week that I heard this was part 1 of a 2 part story. Others have said the same. Was this not reported on purpose or did everyone who knows the play assume it was going to be more than just one movie?

So you’re into girls who have such a bad eating disorder that they have a 12 year old body.

I didn’t know until right before it was a “Part 1” but it had a clear and well put together ending.

I’ll also add this movie felt like being at Disney World in the 1980’s. That’s the best way I can describe the experience. It’s probably a movie best seen in the theaters.

As far as the LGBT, there wasn’t anything overt other than some background characters getting googly eye’d by the prince when he entered, but it fit the idea “everyone” loved him.

Also, I found out this was written in 1995 which was right smack in the conservative resurgence in America and they stayed very true to the source material so their isn’t any “wokeness” that isn’t earned (as in the witch is looked down upon, at first, because of the color of her skin)

In fact, in a meta-analysis of the movie, the theme seemed to be more anti-left than anything. It promoted individualism and the idea the people are the true magic in a society while the government is fraudulent, seeking to spy on and control its people, and obsessed with power.

Maybe I’m just getting older but she has always looked super young to me.

General consensus is that it'll do very well, especially with the holiday season upon us. It very well could have legs and do near, though not quite Barbie numbers in the box office.

That's as solid a W as any studio could ask for.

Feels like an eternity ago but remember when people talked about revoking someone's man card for doing something? Not sure how or why any straight man would subject themselves to a musical aimed at women and gays, which is based on a story about how unfair the patriarchal world is to women.

1. The movie will probably make money, women like the IP and they are advertising the hell out of it and it looks like they put a ton into the production in terms of effects and visuals.

2. The actresses are ugly as hell and insufferable twats.

Well they really screwed up then because the biggest villain is a woman and one of the biggest heroes is a dude.

Ariana Grande is trying to force it.

She did an interview the other day stating "Glinda is definitely in the closet."

She hasn’t looked like that in a while.

She has had to address her weight multiple times. But the sunken cheeks and lack of any figure whatsoever anymore is too apparent.

She did an interview with the gay times where she said Glinda “might be a little in the closet”

I know that hurts your narrative a little bit, but it’s what she actually said.

Semantics.

It's still unnecessary.

I can’t remember exactly what Miss Morrible said but it was basically mirroring our government and how they instill fear and distrust in the commoners so they are infighting and not watching what the powerful people are doing. Someone will explain it better than me but that whole scene was about as truthful as it gets.

She can say what she wants. If it wasn’t written or acted that way it’s just a stupid little girl looking for her virtue point and doesn’t change the movie. Haven’t seen the movie but have seen the play twice so I trust the OP’s take.

Went last night with some friends and their kids.
The kids didn't make it through as we went to the late show
No theater kids singing at least.
It was good but it was a little long. Could have cut some of the filler.
It was good though.

I didn't know it was two parts until it started and said part one. After that i knew this movie would end after defying gravity like when Intermission started in the broadway show.
