Would be funny seeing a short with Van Halen's Jump, and Ja'Marr jumping to make a catch just when the lyrics , "THAT'S when I jump!", ring out..
On a serious note, I wonder if the simple fix for Chris is glasses? I've watched him jump prematurely to make a catch several times, and I think he sees the ball incoming, but it's blurry and not clear..?? Just a thought...
