To be fair, Underwood was in the works as well. Can blame him for wanting to be a stud elsewhere (at a winning program)

Holstein was the highest rated for all the athletic drills at one of the combines for recruits when in high school. He's a great athlete, and I always thought he was a far better prospect than Howard.

Not sure how he's progressed as a QB as I haven't watched Pitt play. Any thoughts from those who have seen him play lately?

I'll take a "Really Good" College QB any day over a "Potentially great recruit".
If we fix the defense and roll that money into the rest of team, I'm fine with this approach.

I rather throw $6M on oline and dline than at one QB. Do you realize how overall better you can make a team with that much talent across the trenches.

Someone like Nuss barely getting touched and being able to run the ball for once. That may likely work out better than an a young all world “prospect” trying to carry lesser talent.

Superior d line making your backend defense better with pass rush. You can have the best CBs and it mean shite with having to defend all damn day.
