Okay guys, I’m going to give you some old man wisdom. I’ve seen LSU go through thin kind of situation too many times to count. We have a long history of being the Bride’s Maid and not the Bride. I’m thinking back to all the over-hyped players who switched their commitment on signing day and left us empty handed. Somehow LSU still managed to go on without them and do just fine. We will do just that again.

In recent years we got Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels from the transfer portal. We will do it again and be just fine.

Kicking the shite out of Vandy tomorrow night will put a lot of this anxiety to rest.

We are realists. Kelly had no desire to win championships here and our AD gave him a contract that won’t punish him for it.

You must have forgotten about the 90s.
That was a long stretch of bad football.

This. Woody took security over winning and went with the safe hire. We wont have much drama as a program and will be just above Aubbie and Moo St in terms of contending.

The locker room will be slightly better for the next guy to take over.

I wish TD was around when Curley Hallman was coach. That would have been interesting to witness.

I do know the apathy on campus was full throttle.

Vandy is still Vandy even if we push their shite in. They definitely have a coach who can play above their talent level. It would be nice if they could sustain this to make some underperforming schools get better (not talking about us while we definitely are).

This is the best post in a long time.

Our fans are complete pussies.

We don't deserve the winning that we've had based on the fanbase that we are.

I agree that the 90’s sucked. LSU was a very different place back then. That period was the culmination of 30 years of neglect. That no longer exists.

I agree that CBK is a disappointment thus far. He is consistently underachieving and that must be corrected. I still think he’s quite capable of getting the program to elite status. Throwing 10 million dollars at a 17 year old is no way to accomplish that.

We also have a history of stealing one on signing day. Ryan Perrilloux flipped from Texas to LSU on signing day. He was the #1 high school quarterback in the nation when he flipped. On that day, it was the biggest recruiting flip ever. Now, we all know what happened to Ryan during his playing years with Les.

The portal is the quick solution to a few of our many position problems only Kelly doesn’t believe in ‘building a football team’ via the portal.
