Spread is Pitt -6.5, they’re ranked 15th in KenPom while LSU is ranked 48th.

A great resume builder and another test to see how much potential this team has this year.

I like LSU with the points (I’m terrible at betting)

Greenbrier tip-off classic:

Game 1: LSU (4-0) vs. Pitt (5-0) 1:30pm

Game 2: Wisconsin (5-0) vs. UCF (4-0) 4pm

3rd Place Game:
Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2 Sunday 2pm

Championship:
Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2 Sunday 4:30pm

The teams in this mini-tourney are a combined 18-0

If LSU can go 1-1, that would be a success. If we go 2-0, we ridin deep into March baws.

Could get ugly if we don’t shoot well from 3

Whyu is your first though framed negatively. Its true in any game that a team with a poor 3 point shooting game will have trouble winning. Lets see what happens before automatically thinking in a loss mode.

Pitt is a good team. We will need to keep up the physicality we've displayed thus far and we'll have a chance.

As someone said in another thread, Pittsburg may likely be the best team we'll play in our pre-conference schedule.

Should be a good indicator.

I’m excited for it. If LSU comes out and plays a great game, we could be looking at a team who plays up to their competition. Small sample size, but they’ve looked like 2 completely different teams between K State and Charleston Southern

Pretty good field they've assembled for this tournament.

Dunn, their 6'5" guard is the one to look out for. He drives looking for contact. Our guards can't let him get past them and pick up fouls on our bigs. He is also a good 3 point shooter, shooting 52.6%.

If our guards can contain him then I think our bigs can out athlete their bigs and give us the edge.

LSU was pretty good vs. KSU at stopping dribble penetration. Then, vs. Charleston So. all CSU did was set a simple ball screen and LSU's guys looked like they couldn't have given any less of a shite about staying in front of the ball handler. When LSU's defense has been good its because they are making it a point of emphasis to stop dribble penetration. When they don't, LSU's defense is really bad.

Pitt doesn't have quite as deep a rotation as LSU. I would try to speed the pace up a bit if I'm McMahon. I think Pitt has a big advantage if the game is a half-court slugfest.

I’m not sure about Paramount Plus since it is on CBS sports Network and not the main CBS channel.

I do know it will be on YouTube TV.
