Oddly, I think LSU will be good in 2025 now

Losing Underwood means you have a big chunk of cash back that you had committed to a backup for 2025.

Nuss likely coming back. Kelly likely more committed to being good in 2025 after this rough stretch.

It’s been said Austin Thomas has a large allocation for the offseason portal. Even more money now.

Buy one of the best available at these positions and we’d be in as good of shape as anyone:

OL
WR
S
DL

All of a sudden the vaunted recruiting class isn't even gonna be a top 7 class. Yet again....

Kind of agree as long as you bring in a good QB, still going to keep melting for now though

Losing the number recruit in the country at the most important position always makes your team better..::

I don’t trust this coaching staff. Do you? Our team is literally going backwards and getting worse. Can you think of a position group that has actually improved this season?

Yeah, I agree we get better by losing the number 1 overall recruit. Makes perfect sense...

Whether we’re the winner or the loser in these recruiting sweepstakes…

This is a disgusting turn of events for college sports.

We now have “a big chunk of cash” back to pay players to come here

If I were Nuss I would demand more money to stay. LSU would have to pay.

And if I were LSU I’d tell him to take a hike.

Did you see how Ole Miss became a playoff contender after spending money on the portal last cycle? AT did this.

He hasn’t been back at LSU for a portal cycle yet, so maybe wait until the upcoming cycle plays out before judging?
