This is the reason China is kicking our arse. A country run by Engineers vs Lawyers. SFP is a prime example of why not to let Lawyers run anything

While I'll agree that we need more Engineering, Business, and Finance people in the upper echelons of our government, please explain how China is currently kicking our arse.

China saw that they were technologically inferior in every way and determined that it was due to lack of engineers, scientists and technologists. The colleges were refocused on engineering and hard science and the college students were mostly Communist Party members destined to rise in leadership. To go to college in China, Party membership is virtually a pre-requisite.

China seems to do better bc they side step the democratic bureaucratic nonsense we put up with in America. A bridge will get built at the drop of a hat. Combine that with a freer market and you have a country on the way up.

Yeah it's easy to do that. If the people whose property it is object off to a labor camp with em.

“Oh you have lived in and paid for this house for 20 years? Tough shite, we are building a road. Get out or you’ll be shot.”

America is run by the donor class. The lawyers in the federal govt are just the mechanism the banks, pharma, big food, and military industrial complex use to rob the American people.

We built the empire state building in far less time than it would take today. That's not communism.

America was founded by lawyers:
Signing the Declaration of Independence: 45% of the 56 signers were lawyers.
Attending the Constitutional Convention: 69% of the 45 delegates were lawyers or had legal training.
Naturally, they designed a country for lawyers

Is it still a free market when oligarchs have all the politicians in their pockets? For example, Covid created a massive wealth transfer from the taxpayers to the likes of Pfizer and Amazon. Jabs didn’t work, small businesses went under, and lockdowns were a disaster for working class people.

when you add in the Political Science & Humanities backgrounds of a combined 35% on that chart, they have 66% of pure jackass leeches running thre Government

We are (supposed to be) a Country of Laws.
The largest lobbying group in the world is the American BAR Association.
How do lawyers get rich?
Why are 70% of lawyers liberal?
Can you do business, in a capitalist society, without lawyers?
What profession is wealthier .... legal profession or health care/medical profession? Which one profits from the other?
So yeah.
What do you call 100 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean?

You do realize that China is in demographic and economic collapse, right? They're not likely to exist as we know them in the next 10-15 years.

It is more than just that. Engineering and studying projects before they even built has gotten out of hand. Nearly one third of a project price is engineering and studies which by the time they are completed have triple and doubled the cost of the project to where it is unaffordable.
