Wanted to get some autographs for my kids.
Is that an inappropriate place to ask. No seriously.

If nobody is there we will know LSU is ready for the game at least.

What a whole lot of nothing.

Football players, including college players, have been going out the week before games for DECADES. The only thing that is different now is they didn't have non-stop news/social media to document such events. More than a few Steelers players were out all night parting, drinking, doing cocaine in Miami into the early morning before Super Bowl 23. They then went on to beat Dallas. Hell, the guy who caught the first TD in Super Bowl history did so, hungover, after staying up drinking all night.

Fans like to think the players are in bed at 9:00 pm, every night, before the season and rarely stay up later partying. They don't and never have. If anything, players party before games LESS than they used to. Being at the casino two days before a game is WAY down the list of why LSU is losing. As in so far down the list you can even see it. But, when things go wrong, people like to latch on to anything salacious.

The concern is athletes in a casino with a sportsbook 2 days before a game, playing absolutely atrociously day of the game, a year after a receiver was caught red handed by La State Police taking bets for all his friends, and alleged to have waged on the Tigers.

Well that's a dumb concern. They would've been arrested by now if they were beating on their own games in a sportsbook.

It’s a joke Dickson tried to make this a big deal. Thursday before a Saturday game? So they go to l’auberge at 8 and stay til midnight and go home? Why is this a big deal.

Jarvis Landry and OBJ absolutely destroyed JL wine nights. I saw Mett walk into Bogies on a Thursday night the week of Bama wearing a Namath Jets jersey and he was blackout.

It’s sad how clueless some fans are

"Clueless" probably isn't the right word. Just naïve

You’re giving shite examples to backup your argument. None of those players won a title and every team they played on underproduced given the talent they had. Mett was always out and it was a bad look when you’re only scoring 6 against Florida and throwing 3 picks against ole miss.

It really is. My ex-wife worked there when it opened and players would always hang out there. This isn’t exactly news.

I remember walking into Fred's during the '80s and seeing Tommy Hodson and crew sitting at the bar with a dozen co-eds around Tommy the Thursday before they went to Tuscaloosa and beat the Tide.

Gambling is different guys.

No one but us would care if this team was getting wasted and hangin out with strippers night before a loss.

Casino makes it different.

Casinos aren't new to BR, and I promise you the players were hanging out there before games about 5 minutes after the riverboats opened for business.

If they are betting on LSU games that is an issue, but something that can be discovered by the casino security quickly and LSU would be alerted. Dickson was either angry, or completely hypocritical, if he thinks THIS is a big deal. It's not.

We know at least one member on the national title team that featured Dickson liked to go to the riverboat casino.

Didn’t they play on a 13-1 team that lost the nc?

I watched the 2011 team run roughshod over the whole conference and dudes were out every single night but Friday night.

People only make this an issue when you aren’t winning. It doesn’t go away when you win, it just doesn’t get talked about
