I was sure this team was headed for the playoff. Crazy how quick stuff can change.
Honest takes:
QB stinks
OL was incredibly overrated preseason
LSU has a legit talent issue
I’m so excited for these dudes on this current roster to be gone. I’m so tired of watching 13 and so tired of watching 66 overrated arse.
If Kelly can keep this class together. There will be 5 day 1 starters.

The OC issue must be addressed first.
New OC should work with Kelly to determine what happens with the rest of the coaches on that side.

That was the turning point in this season. Kelly had no faith and let time run out.

The WR position sucks but everyone knew that before the season unless they were wearing purple and gold glasses.
Aaron Anderson and CJ Daniels can come back (If Daniels still has eligibility left). Kyren Lacy, Chris Hilton, and Shelton Sampson can take a hike.

Campbell has been a really good tackle for us for 3 years. His replacement will likely not be as good.
Our problem has been the center and guards, especially DJ Chester and Paul Mubenga.

This is revisionist history. I'm a pretty cynical guy by nature, but even I was thinking that the team might have turned the corner. Yeah obviously the team has flaws that were always present even during victories, but it's hard to overstate how monumental of a collapse the past 10 quarters of football have been.

No it’s not. This team had several obvious flaws in the offseason to everyone except LSU fans. It’s why we weren’t really ranked that high in preseason polls, and it’s why there was no national hype surrounding the team.
I for one predicted that the WR corps would be trash, and I was right.
Many people also knew Sage Ryan, Greg Penn, and Major Burns would be liabilities on defense.
Most people believed the DL would be absolute trash, but they’ve actually been a little better than expected.

No it has not. And the attitude this team displays is awful. No fire or spirit. And they basically quit trying in the last 5 mins of game yesterday. That’s a huge problem for the future. Believe what you want but the last two games LSU has lost a lot of interest from recruits.

You're a fricking retard if you can't see the difference between this team now and the team that beat Ole Miss and then blew out Arkansas. You really think @Florida was tougher of a game than @Arkansas? Of course it wasn't, the team just imploded. I'm willing to bet that there is a lot going on behind the scenes that we aren't aware of.

It’s not crazy. After beating a really good ole miss team, dominating Arkansas on the road then dominating the first half on the road vs aTm, even a “negatiger” like me thought we had turned the corner and were a lock for the playoff.
Then Elko changes QBs and LSU hasn’t recovered.

Who cares? That doesn’t change the fact that this team had glaring issues in the offseason. We don’t have much depth to be able to withstand injuries. There is a significant talent deficiency and depth deficiency on the team.
If we win the last 2 games we’ll be right in line with what many people expected.
Most people did not expect LSU to be a playoff team this year (except for LSU fans).

The NFL says otherwise. He’s a likely 1st round draft choice.
They know a little more about evaluating talent than a bunch of LSU fans who are being emotional and throwing hissy fits after a bad loss.
