Kelly is going down with the Nuss Bus.

Of all things wrong with Nuss, his mechanics, the non desire to step INTO the pocket and either throw, or RUN it, his ability to make anything go right, it bothers me that Kelly has not turned to the backup QB's for a change.
It is difficult to understand his allegiance to Nuss.

The other guys must really suck

and yet you didn't mention why he doesn't step up into a pocket, that is being raped up the middle of the OL with pathetic interior OL play, didn't mention we are completely one dimensional which makes it impossible to beat a good defense, and lack a run game to be balanced, and have wrs that are just average and have attitude problems....not to mention a horrible scheme and terrible play calling. But, carry on placing blame on Nus.

He fades backwards and is afraid to throw on 3rd down. It’s been coached out of him to take chances. Because he typically makes mistakes on forced throws.

One dimension because of your NO dimensional QB. Re watch the game and focus on how many times Nuss has ample opportunities to tuck and run forward instead of his twist sand run back.

That well may be, but when he does have the opportunity to step up or run, he either goes backwards, takes the sack or throws off of his back foot into a sea of defenders.

Yep. Lots of areas to blame.

Nuss spent too much time reading all the rave reviews about him being a “gunslinger.” Instead, he should’ve been working on his accuracy and mechanics. The kid needs a reality check.

Don’t use logic here, Nuss needed to step up in pocket so the nose guard could get 4 to 5 sacks.

To be fair, the running game was working last night. He had time on some of the sacks that turned into coverage sacks. It doesn’t help that he literally spins or runs outside of the tackle box giving them no chance. The interior is just sad and ghost blocks all night.
He can’t shoulder all the blame, where are the drags/slants. Ton of quick hitter routes last night, all were behind or at the line of scrimmage though. Maybe we don’t run that because the WRs can’t get any separation either.
Honestly, just a terrible offensive unit all around minus Taylor/Durham/Anderson.

Hard to step up when your C and LG are being shoved backwards like they were on skates.

I wish our backups would play against Vandy so ya'll, blame Nuss for everything fans, could start to get an idea of just how wrong you are about where the blame should be.

Nah it’s not his allegiance to Nuss. He was Coach O’s recruit anyway not BK’s. The backup QBs must not be ready at all or they suck that bad. Who knows. I think it’s the schemes Sloan uses. They don’t fit Nuss’ pocket passer style. Also Sloan isn’t very experienced as an OC and probably should have never been promoted to OC.

Regardless of all of that, if you take the dropped passes, the pic penalty on the TD, Taylor stepping out of bounds , Hilton not catching catchable passes, Nuss probably doesn’t look so bad and that’s over another 100 yd of additional passing yds and possibly 3TD’s. So it’s not all on Nuss.

Everything was fine until Nuss singlehandedly gave away the A&M game. If was his fault for throwing all those interception. Nuss is not an SEC QB. LSU should tell him to kick rocks after the season...

#65 and Chester need to move on both got plunked all night.

Well when you go back to pass and everytime a 300 pound guy has free run at you it may make you think about contact. Yeah

There’s a lot to criticize with Nuss, but anyone that says “he needs to step up in the pocket” is clueless about what they are watching and what is happening with the interior OL, particularly since Dellinger has gotten hurt.
