It was nearly the exact same offense. The difference is JD could outrun a bad play call.

Not adjusting the offense to Nuss is the biggest problem

This offense would look totally different with a running QB.

Not really. Year 1 play calling was bad. Daniels bailed made him look better than he was. He covered up a lot of issues offensively.

reason being the head coach has an offensive background so it was sort of stupidly assumed he would be very involved in the game planning and play calls.

Hard to believe Sloan was best we could get. Kelly settling for the easy lazy hire or is it nobody with experience wanted to come here. We are a tier 2 football program now. Woodward has put this program back for years to come.

Not sure how you adjust to poor decision making, inaccurate, and turnover machine.

It may have also had a lot to do with our Heisman winning QB who is playing very good as a rookie in the NFL leaving

Believe it or not LSU is currently ahead of Notre Dame in total offense this year.

It wasn’t the same offense. When do you remember last year knowing exactly what plays were coming. Pass, run, pass and repeat. Not going out and getting someone to replace Denbrock and just moving Sloan up was a mistake.

Do tier 2 football programs sign top 5 classes (#1 right now) with the number 1 overall player committed?

Sometimes recruiting plays a big play in college hires. Unless Sloan leaves on his own, we were probably out on Underwood.
