Beating Kansas State on the road is not a result to scorn. They went Final Four, IIRC just two seasons ago under Jerome Tang.
I'm impressed with LSU's athleticism this year. There's no reason this team can't show out well in Greenbrier

The win last season vs. a top 15 South Carolina team was impressive as well. Still, this was big to keep expectations high!

Yes. it was. In that game they fell behind by a large margin and roared back to win. What stood out tonight is how solid they played throughout and once they took control never relinquished and fended off a couple of mini runs.

If it weren’t for the 2nd half TO there are no mini runs. But they still played defense and rebounded and that’s why they were mini runs and kept that double digit margin.
