Yep that was never in doubt to anyone close to the program. He needs to keep bringing in players and coaching them up. He’s good at both of those things

Vs K state last night.
McNeese lost by 8, at Alabama last week. Outscored Bama in the second half.
Which was a more impressive?
I'm happy. It appeared Mac finally has us on track to be competitive.

What are you in middle school???
I'm as big a Wade guy as there is, and AM POSITIVE we should have kept him and told the NCAA to go kick rocks.
But as I've posted repeatedly, I'd rather be ONE BILLION PERCENT wrong about keeping Wade, and have McMahon make the tournament yearly and win a national championship(s).
Only people with simple minds think it's all or nothing. I don't give a damn who our coach is as long as he makes the tournament 80-90% of the time, and mixes in some deep runs and possibly winning it all.
With the right coach this can be done at LSU. I was thrilled with last night's result, and hope Kansas State wins every game the rest of the regular season so that win gets more impressive.
