Congrats on getting yet another #1 recruiting class in America.

Kim, can you teach CBK how to recruit multiple #1 classes to LSU in Football?

Kim knows how to do her job, and like Saban, works hard at it every damn day. That is the price of success, and she pays the tab. We are damn lucky to have her representing LSU.

Love Mulkey.
She is a top 3 women’s basketball coach.

That is a big fish in a small pond thing though.

Big Fish in a Small Pond is a common expression to describe someone who is the biggest and best of something while being in a limited field.

It means Many many many many more people care about college football than College basketball.

Many many many more schools put way more money into it.

More kids want to play Football than Women’s basketball.

So being the best WBB coach is impressive but easier than being the best men’s football coach.

No one thinks Geno is comparably to Saban.

disagree. If she didn't win titles, nobody would want to play for her. LSU would still be below 500. The sport doesn't matter. The coach does. Remember that. If Saban showed up on campus next yr as head coach mfers would be transferring in left and right and get instant number 1 classes. LSU would immediately contend for a title right away. But you know, its not like that right now, not even close. This current coach doesn't have that aura and never will. We settling for 9-3/8-4.

Mulkey, as a player(2 or 3 titles and Olympic gold), won a couple titles as an assistant and as a head coach(4 titles?) there is no other human being that has done more than she has as both a player and a coach. Real Deal bro. In football our talent level is shite and the coaching is shite. Unacceptable on all levels. Let's just settle for 9-3 every year. Half of those wins are against scrubs too.

Because women's basketball and football are exactly the same.

none of that is relevant.

Again she’s awesome.

But WBB isn’t CFB

Yhe player you can get for 100k in Women’s basketball is a much different player than you can get for 100k in CFB and there are significantly less teams willing to put that money up.

Even compared to Mens Basketball there are only ever a few good teams.

thats why you have like 3-4 dynasties winning every championship in WBB and there are hardly any repeats in MBB.

Never blames coaching

She must win every game.

and this isn’t an Anti- Mulkey thread

this isn’t like when people constantly pumped up Guice because they really just wanted to shite on Fournette

I’ve never had any interest in women’s sports of any kind. Kim Mulkey has me watching LSU women’s basketball. It’s 100% due to her. I am a fan of her.

Ok,

Would you trade a CFB championship for another WBB championship?

Why don’t we have 5000000 threads asking why the highest paid coach in women’s basketball has a losing record to South Carolina?

Regardless of sport, I enjoy seeing LSU win championships.

Because every time they play, the games are more competitive. South Carolina is the 800 lb. gorilla and LSU has quickly closed the gap. Also, winning a natty keeps the dipshits off your back.
