This Nuss led offense is really easy to stop…ATM figured it out, Bama copied.

Blitz on most downs, get the CBs to squat on routes and don’t worry about the deep threat because Nuss will have no time.

And the defense still cannot contain a running QB.

I think if Nussmeier had made some very simple plays in the first half we’re tied or close to it and get the ball in the second half. Then he threw a pick at the goal line on first possession of second half and that, combined with the rain, completely killed the team and crowd energy. Became a slaughter after that.

Nussmeier, the last two weeks, has played about as bad any quarterback I’ve ever seen at LSU.

Unfortunately this is what happens when you can’t run consistently. We’re a boxer with no jab at this point.

Worst schemed offense in College Football. Formations/plays predictable. Routes are completely unimaginitive.

I swear hire me as OC. I'll just bust out the Joe Brady playbook and force Nussmeir to run read/option plays until he's good at it.

No, he throws better passes than Randall and has played at a higher level but he also has his penchant for trying to do too much or make bad decisions.

Even if he has time he sucks at throwing the deep ball. Very low percentage completion rate.

Add to this - most throws are outside the numbers, making it very easy to squat on the routes and scheme coverages to confuse Nuss into throwing easy INTs. Nuss could have easily had 5 or 6 INTs last night, as the Bama defense dropped/our WR mad plays to defend the interception a few times.

And you absolutely know he isn’t a running threat.

Pressuring Nuss is the key. He's not gonna make me you pay for it bc he's too nervous to think straight.

The last two games are worse than just about anything I’ve seen in multiple consecutive games. He completely killed our team in both games.
