BLINDNESS BREAKTHROUGH: JAPANESE TEAM USES STEM CELLS TO RESTORE VISION

In an incredible first, scientists from Osaka University have successfully treated blindness caused by limbal stem cell deficiency (LSCD) using reprogrammed stem cells.

In their study, three patients with severely impaired vision saw lasting improvement, while a fourth regained sight temporarily.

Importantly, none of the patients experienced severe side effects like tumor formation or immune rejection, even two years after treatment.

I hope so.

Right after the treatment and the person starts to realize they can see.

It’s a bunch of Asians looking at the person and the doctor says

OH HERRRRROOOOOO!!!! You see good now!

It matters, when you're talking to lefties, if they were embryonic stem cells or not. Most of the discovered therapies come from adult stem cells, not embryonic.
