Atone for your sins here… dude has been gaslighting y’all with baggy clothes, beards and marketing quotes for the last 4 years.

It was absolutely the best that Zion has looked to start a season.

That's obviously still not good enough.

No tf it wasn't. I've posted a side by side with 2022 and he looks at least 15 pounds heavier than 2022 and it's not even close.

Stop lying to yourself. 2022 was the last time his frame looked good, he was out of shape in 23 and 24.

You literally have media day pictures where he is sitting in the exact same spot, the weight difference is easily noticable.

He was bigger this year than he was last year

He looked worse last year. But that worse Zion played 70 games. At this point is it better he comes in out of shape, half-asses it and is playing full speed after all star break?

I mean going full speed in somewhat better shape he messes up his hammy early and torpedos the season. At this point if those are your only options- its time to move on.

Every year there is a litany of excuses about his weight. Many of us have said the dude should be around 260-70 for YEARS playing the way he does.

It usually gets downvotes to hell. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist (I’m only a physical therapist ) to know that a player with a 300 lb body on Zion’s frame cannot handle the movements an nba player engages in multiple times a week.

Nah that was definitely 2022. He looked just about the same this year as last which isn’t his worst (2021) but still not where you’d want him to be. Dude is lazy and/or surrounded by the wrong people. He will never accomplish anything here and probably can’t trade him for much so…pels fricked lol. AD won the trade!

Sheeeeeit I’ll take his college weight at 285. 260 is probably what he weighed in HS

For sure. But he can easily shed enough fat to get there if he wanted to.

You have to question who on his personal team is advising him not do this? Like lose a good amount of weight to help with these injuries. The one guy who helped him was that Jasper guy- and then he fired him. I feel a lot of this is self sabotage by Zion and his personal team.

Wow. Rookie Zion really does look like a different human. That’s sad. Zion is the same age as me so I’ll always have a soft spot for him but he is massively disappointing with the genetic gifts he was given. I was so damn excited when we won the lottery, I’m indifferent now. It’s not even worth caring about.

I would love to say it's intentional so he can get traded, but at this point I doubt someone would sabotage 6 years of their career so they can get traded. If so, that's some shady shite.

If he goes elsewhere and pops up looking like the pics above, that would be a really telling thing.
