Looks like you were a bit premature just so you could be first to post.
Lemme show you how this is done.

University Lab’s football season has taken a major hit, with the team now sitting at No. 27 in the GeauxPreps Division II power ratings, a rating that could leave them out of the playoff picture. This shakeup comes after the team was forced to forfeit all seven of their regular-season wins due to player(s) eligibility issues.
Rumors had been circulating about an LHSAA investigation into U-High for potentially using ineligible player(s), and on Monday, the LHSAA confirmed the forfeits by updating the Cubs’ record to reflect nine losses via LHSAA.org.
As per its usual policy, the LHSAA does not provide comment on penalties.
With these forfeits, the Cubs’ record now stands at 0-9 as they prepare for their Week 10 game against Port Allen. The situation is especially tough for U-High, which had been ranked No. 1 in Class 3A until a recent loss to Madison Prep. The forfeits not only knock them from the top spot but could also keep them out of the playoffs entirely.
There’s a strong assumption that U-High will appeal the LHSAA’s decision, which could offer a last chance to save their season.

University Lab, expected to be major contender in Louisiana’s Division II select football bracket, has forfeited seven victories for the use of an ineligible player.
The Advocate was the first to report the forfeits. The Louisiana High School Athletic Association has updated its schedule and results database with the forfeits.
The Cubs forfeited victories over Woodlawn, Catholic High, Collegiate Baton Rouge, St. Paul’s, Helix Mentorship Academy, Glen Oaks and Parkview Baptist.
While the LHSAA has not posted new unofficial power rankings heading into Week 10, GeauxPreps.com has the Cubs listed at No. 27 in its revised Division II select rankings. The top 24 in each select division reach the playoffs.
Hurt by the news are the schools who defeated U-High on the field, including Archbishop Rummel, who slipped a spot from fifth to sixth in the revised Division I rankings. Part of the ranking formula is strength of schedule.
Entering the final week of the regular season, Archbishop Shaw sits atop the D-II select rankings, with unbeaten Haynes Academy second, Vandebilt Catholic third and E.D. White Catholic fourth.

There’s 1-9 teams in every year. They good

With LHSAAs 127 divisions, they’ll still get a first week bye

Typically not in the 3A Select (Division II) bracket. They have to make it to 24th in the rankings to get in.

Am I the only one who doesn’t give a single shite about high school football?
I love football in general but anything below college level is a zero in my book

Don't like U-high particularly, but punishing kids for where they go to school, when they are legally confined to the decision of their parents about where they go to school, makes no sense to me.
When they punished the coaches at Catholic, it made much more sense.

Catholic's violations weren't discovered until after the season(s)
every one screams for the rules to be enforced until they are.

Kids generally go where they want to go for HS if there’s choices
