Is anyone hearing rumors of active duty military personnel not receiving election ballots?

I’m hearing murmurs to the effect of inadequate supply of ballots available to active duty military. Kind of late for this to be just now discovered unless it is only a small number of incidents and not a systemwide snafu

I’m pretty sure James Wood retweeted something about this.

Oh those ballots were already filled out, no need to send them over.

Part of the Dem coup…heard there is disagreement on number of military personnel…this provides duplicate overseas ballots

Yes, Townhall is the only source I’ve found after discussion ensued on a Georgia poll watchers online meeting tonight

Almost as if NC, VA, GA, Texas, and Fla have military populations...

What a coincidence!

I dont want to live in a country where the people actually serving the country are denied the ability to vote.

Can confirm. BiL is currently deployed on a carrier. He did not receive his ballot.

A little late for this to be news now. I did not get ballots from the pentagon to vote while military.

The easiest way to prevent active duty soldiers "not in an active war zone" from voting themselves out of an "inactive war zone" is by forgetting to send them the mail in ballots.

The dod probably ran out.
Had to send ballots out to the asylum seekers.

Military doesn’t send out ballots the individual still has to request them from home of record.

How stupid are you shite for brains? Any registered voter simply needs to fill out a request for an absentee ballot. They don’t need to rely on their employer to provide it. How fricking stupid are you people?

Not putting anything past current leaders, but I don’t know how this happens. Getting an absentee ballot was always an individual effort and submitted through where ever the service member’s home of record was. Sometimes people voted through their home state and sometimes through the state they were stationed at.

The military did have people assigned to help guide this process if you needed it, but they never got their hands on the ballots to my knowledge.

Exactly, not sure what this means unless there is some other requirement while overseas.

Each unit have voting reps that disseminate information for registering for their absentee ballot from their home of record. You register then your state sends your ballot. I for instance registered in early October and got my ballot from Missouri then returned.

Really unsure what this is referencing
