Thanks everyone for the kind words. At 62, it's been the thrill of a lifetime. We've emailed back and forth and I've also talked, texted and emailed with Vic Johnson. We will meet in Feb.

I sent it to him on behalf of Zager Guitars. I usually present them in person but SoCal was a long trip so we mailed them. I am meeting with him in Oklahoma on Feb. 21st at a show.

Aren't you the poster from a few weeks ago, that was asking about Zager guitars? I remember somebody posting here that was asking about them, saying they had won one.
I remember replying that I had never actually seen one but got lots of emails from Zager.

That's me. I've since established a relationship with Dennis Zager and now present their guitars to artists. No pay. My reward is getting to meet these artists.

It's interesting that the first thing he thinks to play is someone else's song.
Reminds me of an article about the first Van Hagar concert in Shreveport. It mentioned that Sammy was warming up backstage playing Zeppelin's Dancing Days. Ever since, I've wanted to see him perform it, but I'm not sure he ever has.
