Larry left a lot to be desired most of the time, but he was a real leader. This team has no leader and they play like it. They look so lethargic.

Yes they do, but he unfortunately broke his wrist in the first game. I'm not saying they'd be undefeated if Murray hadn't gotten injured, but I wouldn't expect them to be losing the same ways they lost last season.

We saw this team meltdown plenty last season. No 4th quarter comebacks. Blown leads galore. I doubt Larry would make any difference, at least not enough to merit a roster spot and his bloated salary.

The players are fine on paper - I think it starts with the front office. Willie & co need a stacked, healthy roster to be competitive. Strategically, he doesn't make the most of what he has.

I think it's a lack of PG.

Durant and Booker are damn good players and they melted down completely along with Beal last season.

The Lakers are similar. When you don't have a true PG to calm the team, make smart decisions, you get Zion dribbling into a crowd, Ingram settling for mid range, CJ going full retard, etc.

If that's the case, then what's the point of having BI and Zion as your two highest paid players?

Griff has been trying to trade Ingram. I still think there's a chance they keep Ingram going forward because that might be the best value play, but we still need to see this team at full strength to see if this top heavy roster can gel or if you'd be better off letting BI walk for nothing.

I was onboard before with a BI/Kessler and picks but Missi fills the Kessler role. We need a PF/C who can shoot and or a viable CJ/Hawk replacement.

If only we had an immensely talented, former 1st overall pick who could become a leader in his 6th season….
