-Garrett Dellinger has a high ankle sprain. Hoping this week becomes a recovery week for him
-LSU would love to run screens, they just aren't good at it. Hinted that LSU's linemen aren't quick or mobile enough to be super effective at it
-LSU uses flare plays more often as the receivers can block and the linemen aren't involved. They use this as an extension of the outside run game
-Got to finish in this league, they've been on the other side (starting bad, finishing strong)
-Had a scrimmage for the young guys today to get them work
-Got the kicking unit work today, they normally wouldn't but those guys weren't in sync at all
-The majority of defensive practice reps went to preparation for Weigman however they always work on defending quarterback run plays. A&M didn't run anything exotic, LSU just didn't execute
-Run game struggles weren't due to Dellinger going down, there were a lot of times when they lost individual battles and ran into loaded boxes
-Mentioned making the wrong decisions and running into bad looks twice
-Said Nussmeier's struggles are all part of the learning curve for a new quarterback, and Nuss understands that because he saw Daniels go through it and his dad is a quarterback coach
-Said the quarterback gets too much of the credit and too much of the blame, he isn't concerned about Nuss' confidence going forward

NFL lineman at both tackles but we aren’t athletic enough to run a screen? Every team runs this with immensely less talented players. Incredible

Probably due more to the guards and center.
I've noticed that pulling guards doesn't usually work either. They miss the block a lot.

That’s a whole lot of words to not say anything promising

There isn't much positivity going into a bye week after getting thumped.

That, along with his response of "we've got to coach better," doesn't inspire a lot of confidence going forward.

Yeah. Normally don't work on special teams, then shocked Pikachu face when special teams make mistakes.

So it was so bad that the kicking unit has to practice now? That’s unfortunate.

Just add 3 simple, effective, running plays, and we could win out!

The guard play on this team is abysmal.

You ever really pay attention to Campbell when he pulls? Stands straight up, slow to the hole and never attacks.

The only part that really concerned me was when he was asked about Mason Taylor only having 3 receptions in 3 of the last 4 games and he said that they haven’t really noticed that.

Not yet, they both have a ways to go.

Well he's being honest right? That's been something folks here been clamoring about for decades. Oh and why do we need to feel positive before the bye week? Are we little snowflakes all of a sudden who have to hear good news all the time? Maybe if Brian Kelly wore an ill fitting suit, painted his face and called himself "THE GREATEST COACH EVER" y'all would call him daddy like you do... someone else.

I don't have any problem with what he said

he said they normally wouldn’t be working on it “during an off week”.

Yeah, they might have been playing 2 or 3 years, but they just aren't that good, and it shows in the running game.
