Notwithstanding your Mickey Mouse title in 2020. Y'all are the best team in baseball this year despite having Dave Roberts as your manager. He walked to a title

You bought every free agent and international signee no matter the cost, deferred $700 million in salary for a player who was gambling on baseball, and threw trash on the field because a guy robbed a home run. The only upside is the Dodger fans in LA will be celebrating instead of committing drivebys or stabbings in the parking lot.

Don't forget, Soto is a free agent this off season.

I can't hate on it all, I wish the Astros would do the same thing Just don't think anybody outside of your trashy fanbase is impressed with anything other than the individual accomplishments of your players

ETA: Look at all of you coming out of the woodwork now that you can thump your chest for once this generation

It’s nothing the Yankees haven’t done before.

Until there is a salary cap in the MLB, the richest teams will get the red arse and buy a contending roster from time to time, like they always have

Dodgers 2024 payroll - $266M
Trash can - $19.99

I can appreciate a good bargain.

I've yet to hear a coherent argument for why it's bad that teams spend money to improve their product.
