Looking for recommendations for a transmission shop in Lafayette, La.

I've heard about a few, but I'm curious if any of them or others stick out.

Having torque converter issues on a 2015 F150, but may be larger than that.

I've read about:
-Darrell thibodeauxs in opelousas
-Juniors
-All A's in broussd
-Lafayette Transmission on dulles

UPDATE: Finally pulled the trigger. Had the torque converter replaced and the transmission rebuilt. I went with Jrs in Carencro and I got to tell you, I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

When I spoke to him about it, you can tell this man really likes his job and takes pride in his work. Just got the truck back today, so I'll have to report back later on how good the work was. However, so far, I am extremely happy with his honesty, work, knowledge, promptness, and everything going exactly like he said.

I've used All A's in Broussard a couple of times; they're fair-priced and did a good job.

Juniors is my recommendation. Good people that do honest work.

Used Jr's in 2009 for my Sierra. Don't remember the exact issue, but I got it back when they said (and for how much they quoted) and it ran well for a year until I needed a full rebuild.

You mean Darold Thibodeaux? That's my dad's first cousin. He was a good mechanic but he passed away a few years ago. I'm not sure who runs the shop now.

It's all good. I didn't know the man personally but heard stories of him being a good and honest mechanic, which you don't see much of these days.

Update in the OP, but

I couldn't agree more.

I’ve used JR’s on my last truck. Same as the other poster said. Quoted price was the price. Worked fine until about 2 years after torque converter was replaced and total rebuild needed. I traded truck in on a new truck. Service Chevrolet gave me 11k for a 2015 GMC 1500 4x4 Denali with 200k miles. In 2023
