I think the vermin should stop poisoning the blood of this nation. That’s my take on it.

But, I think most of you are still reasonable and don’t want anyone to be locked up or exterminated for being a legal immigrant who’s lived here for 40 years, or for voting Democrat

He’s not talking about these people. He’s talking about illegal aliens and pols on both sides who have sold this country up the river and seek to destroy it, from within.

Go away, Troll. You are truly not independent if you don’t think the major entities aren’t captured by the ruling class.

It means exactly what it means. The United States is being destroyed.

This is your concern? Democrats are calling Trump a threat to democracy, a fascist, Hitler, evil and demonic. Trump has been shot and had multiple attempts on his life but you're worried about his rhetoric?

I don’t get offended by little things and “bad words”

As Charlie Kirk says. You aren’t just voting for Trump/Kamala. You’re voting for the 5,000 that are gonna be in power because of them. I can promise you we will be better off in 5, 10, or 20 years if Trump Is president compared to Kamala.

Don’t let words hurt your feelings and make you vote a certain way.

Or realistically from a policy perspective tell us what Kamala will do better than Trump.

If you really look at this objectively Trump’s rhetoric is about 10% of the amount that liberals/Democrats talk and act towards him. His rhetoric is child’s play. Don’t forget who they tried to kill. You don’t think the rhetoric of the left contributed to dehumanizing him?

*sigh*

Threads like this keep popping up.

What do you think it means and do you think he wants to lock up all the dissenters like Harris and the progressives state?

He sure as hell didn’t do that the first time he was president.

If you think his record is less important than the flowery words he uses, then vote Harris.

Also, why do his words bother you, yet Harris and left’s words do not give you pause?

That about sums it up.

None of those are as bad as calling someone Hitler or a facist. Calling someone a racist without citing examples is another from their playbook. Next.

He’s absolutely correct that democrats and their operatives around the world are vermin, poisoning the blood of our country, and they are indeed the enemy within our borders. The attempts on his life and the attempts to imprison him prove this. Trump is known for blunt and honest evaluations and communications, one reason he is popular and in direct contrast to previous lesser political leaders.

Biden's #3 guy at the DOJ was sent to NYC to prosecute the state case there. Fani Willis and Nathan Wade had multiple meetings with the White House prior to indicting Trump and his allies. Biden's DOJ indicted Trump additionally in DC and South Florida. And yet you're more concerned about Trump's rhetoric than Biden's actions? Independent my arse. Another "above-the-fray" moderate.

Thanks for the response. I genuinely haven’t seen where Harris wants to lock up dissenters, do you know where I can see that?

I think there’s been pretty clearly an escalation in Trump’s rhetoric in this campaign vs. 2016/2020. I don’t remember him calling anyone Vermin in 2016. He did use ‘enemy of the people’ to refer to the press, which is pretty similar, and of course he didn’t engage in anything to shut them down.

Just yesterday in the Joe Rogan interview, he once again used the “enemy within” rhetoric.

If you don’t believe that there are elements of the United States government that actively work against the interest of the American public, I don’t know what to tell you.

There is absolutely an “enemy within”.

quote:

As far as I know, real dictators, Hitler and Mussolini among others, have used this language in the past. This is concerning to me for what I think should be obvious reasons.

They also used language that Obama, Biden, Clinton, and Harris have used to describe their political opponents. They also actively suppressed news like the DNC has over the last eight years to engineer public support.

The “enemy within” language was prominent during the American Revolution to describe loyalists within colonial government actively working to suppress colonial interests.

We can draw comparisons all day.
