Looked at Wolverines but their steel toes are crap that are $80 - $150. Looked at Origin but nothing there. Red Wing seemed to be out of most of the boots that I looked at.

My life’s ambition is to find some steel toed boots that are at least reasonably comfortable….
That said, there is a place on I-55 in Jackson right around where the Outback Steakhouse used to be that has a very good selection.

Thorogood Heritage but they’re expensive.

My go-to lately are round toed Thorogoods.

Composite/safety toe are way better in my opinion.
Not sure if you will be in cold weather but if you will be than composite toe is way way better.

I like Bjourne Allwear. Really durable, lightweight and cheap. $45-$65

Redwings. Get the Ratchet ones. Best thing ever
No more muddy shoelaces. Easy to get in and out of. Only thing I'll ever buy from here on out

Composite toe for the win. Much lighter.
I’ve like Timberlands.

Has to be steel toe. Nephew's boss requires it for the work they do.

I like dr martens slip on but I don’t think they make them anymore.
Danner would be a top choice. Thorogoods I had/have are complete shite.

I have a pair of Ridgecut (Tractor Supply store brand) and a pair of Herman Survivors. Both reasonably comfortable. I bought a pair of Red Wings recently and they were crap. Do not recommend.

Danner and you won't regret it. Thorogood are also not a bad choice.

Haven’t found any that stay comfortable yet.
They all start out decent. I go thru insoles constantly.
I walk all day though. Go thru a couple of pairs a year.
