One of the things I feel Trump should pursue is justice for Ashli Babbitt. She was murdered by a capital police lieutenant who fired upon her knowing she was not iminent threat to him or anyone else. And no one in the news media said a word about any injustice. Was she not someone's wife, daughter, friend, etc.?

If this would have been a black woman killed by a white man in the very same scenario would we have seen the killer hailed a hero? I don't think, so.

Murder doesn't have a statute of limitations and that was clearly murder.

Justice for Babbitt would be for Trump to issue Pardons for those railroaded by the DOJ

Yes but after the election. Justice for her and all of those who have been denied due process. However he shouldn't waste any time on this over the next two weeks because it only matters to his base which will turn out for him anyway.

This is a typical issue where I hate the hypocrisy on both sides.

Is Ashli was a lib protesting Trump, there would have been marches for her. All we would have heard is how an unarmed protestor who was no threat to anyone was gunned down in cold blood.

And 99% of the right would have said she FAFO.

Video of the event

I'm sorry, but this was a justified shooting. She was the first one to penetrate a barricaded doorway that they were trying to bust through. If they had been standing there chanting and he shot through the doorway, that's a different story.

She wasn't armed or attacking anybody at the time she was shot. That is not an imminent threat.

If you want to argue it was justified because she could have had a concealed weapon, then so be it, but that same justification applies to every interaction a cop has. That has never been a justification for lethal force.

I am not sure why you are not honest in that the reasoning for arguing her death was justified was because she was a white conservative Trump supporter.

If one of the unarmed black women caught on video looting Target during the BLM riots had been killed by police just for being in the store, no reasonable person would argue it was justified.

In the United States, law enforcement officers are allowed to use deadly force when they reasonably believe that a subject poses a significant threat of serious bodily injury or death to themselves or others.

Can you point to where entering a barricaded doorway is equal to posing a significant threat of injury or death? Last I checked, trespassing has never been a standard for lethal force.

Trump should put a 50ft statue of her on the WH lawn.

An angry mob banging on the barricade trying to get through....a mob that is already breaking the law. This wasn't a typical 'trespassing' situation and you know it. They weren't shooting people as they entered the front door of the Capitol. This was their last line of defense to hold back a mob. The shot only occurred once someone broke through.

Goldmill doesn't agree with her politics. "Liberals" are perfectly ok with killing anyone that doesn't agree with their politics
