How much money, time and effort was wasted celebrating being a witch? In Louisiana…

Riverbend Witch Parade
Grown women celebrating being something GOD forbids. It’s not cute, it’s disgusting. How many cuck husbands encouraged this? Enough so they had someone build and haul their floats around.
Be a man and resist this soul rot.

I don't get it. Is this really a thing? Judging from the pics, are they celebrating, 4th of July, aliens, Halloween or witchcraft itself?

Look at the photos…almost everyone of them is holding a Stanley/Yeti cup filled with their libations…literally celebrating being a Witch…no other reason. Like playing dress up to be a demon or a ghoul or any other character against GOD.
They say it’s not nefarious, all in good fun…then why witches? Sadder is they have little girls dressing up with them and dad’s being pusses supporting it so they don’t have to deal with blowback.
This goes on because men allow it…period.

This seems personal for you. What’s the real story?

Negative Ghostrider…I have no personal connection. I deplore the ease in this country with which a large chunk of folks celebrate false gods and their ilk.

Because Halloween?

It looks more to me like a bunch of bored housewives using the Halloween season to have their own little parade for wine-enhanced shite-n-giggles (and maybe give their kids a shot at 2 trick-or-treat events).

When are you going to start protesting Comic-Con?
Or are you still at the shaking a fist at the sky phase?
Have you ever taken your kids to Disney World, or is that forbidden in your household too?

Sure thing, what’s the harm in a little glorifying and promoting a little blatant Satanism?
It’s not like a purposely ignorant and gullible audience would ever take it seriously. Just like “Russia, Russia, Russia.”

No, we don’t spend our time nor treasure supporting an immoral enterprise.

I get it and am not a fan of it myself, but if you love America and freedom, ???????.

And just how do you determine which god or gods is false? Because none have revealed themselves in any verifiable way, which should be a trivial thing for such a powerful being to do.
I say this as someone who wishes there was evidence of a god who cared about humanity.

When you look at the mountains, the stars, the crashing oceans, the beauty of a butterfly…you don’t see a Creator behind all of it?
Truly your conscience also tells you what is good and what is wrong without needing a written law…where do you think that comes from?
What other evidence would suffice for you?

I see it as them creating another reason to have a party, I don't see the harm

Yeah.
I'm guessing this is just a troll thread

Ok troll confirmed.
He did hook that one guy though

Dressing up as a witch doesn't make you one any more than dressing up as a werewolf or a vampire.
They've never cast a spell, they've never ridden a broom. It's make believe. Pretend

I’m not trolling anyone. I’m stating my observation and several posts in response confirm my belief that such tomfoolery is seen as harmless by many and thus it will continue.
We can all have different opinions, values and ethics thus why there is a board to post on.

To be fair, the "real" witch stuff is also purely make believe, too.
