Not trolling, I’ve always respected the Sooners but damn they are looking terrible. For over 20 years they always produced a high powered offense but now they can even score a TD.

Will Venables get canned after this year?

Venables isn’t a head coach and they can’t find or keep a QB worth a shite

They were always a respectable 10+ win program with multiple playoff appearances, bowl wins and and conference championships. I’m not saying they were elite, but much better than what they’ve been putting out the last few years.

Poor QB play and bad injury luck.

Rolled the dice on a 5 -star QB and got rid of the established senior.

Talent started slipping every year with Lincoln Riley other than offense. Lost a lot of 4 and 5 stars when he left.
OU took a slow start getting in the NIL game especially when rebuilding OL and DL. .
Poor hires on OC and OC staff.

Oklahoma's blueprint to winnning was lighting up Big 12 defenses with Heisman level QBs and great WRs. Play 1-2 tough games per year and then lose in the playoff.

Venebles tried to turn them into a defensive line of scrimmage team, but he's a shite HC and now they dont even have the offesnive skill guys like they used to, plus they're playing strong teams with real talent almost every week.

In short, it's a recipe for disaster entering the SEC.

In this era of college football if you don't have a QB you don't have anything.
